Skills for All is just around the corner, with the system going live from 2 July. This funding initiative by the SA Government will become the new way of accessing VET funding for a broad cross section of South Australians, from Certificate I level to Advanced Diploma.

The eligibility criteria to access funding are very generous*, for example if you currently hold a Certificate IV level qualification, you will be entitled to:

• One subsidised course from Certificate Level  1 to III

• One subsidised course at Certificate Level  IV

• Two subsidised courses at each level from Diploma to Advanced Diploma

• An unlimited number of subsidised ‘priority’ courses

• One subsidised skill set per annum

If you currently hold a Diploma, you will still be entitled to:

• One subsidised course from Certificate Level  1 to IV

• One subsidised course at  Diploma

• One subsidised course at Advanced Diploma

• An unlimited number of subsidised ‘priority’ courses

• One subsidised skill set per annum

RTO’s (including ourselves) are currently applying to become registered Skills for All providers. Once registrations are granted, you can expect to be contacted by training organisations keen to promote their presence in the market. This funding is available to you irrespective of the training organisation you engage.
