Refresher and extension of TAEASS402 Assess competence for Newer Practitioners in VET
We are delighted to be partnering with the Department for Innovation and Skills to deliver this Masterclass.
This Masterclass is designed for those who are relatively new to the Vocational Education and Training sector, having completed the TAE41016 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment within the past 12 months, or are at least 50% through studies toward the qualification.
Led by VET facilitators with over 40 years combined experience in the design and delivery of vocational training and assessment, the program will both refresh and extend participant’s understanding of the assessment process as it applies to nationally recognised training.
The assessor’s role is to give the learner every opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and application. We will look at real life cases; exploring the challenges that assessors can face in managing and implementing the assessment phase of a learner’s journey, and ways to ensure the process is transparent and reliable.
