Course Description
To undertake this qualification, you must be leading and managing a team of people. The assessment tasks and project you will need to complete will require you to relate your answers back to your workplace environment. If you are not currently managing a team, please consider our Certificate IV in Leadership & Management.
This qualification gives learners a wide range of practical tools to take back to the workplace including:
- communicating at all levels in the organisation

The Department of Innovation and Skills has approved ASC Training & Development to deliver this qualification under a Traineeship – Contract of Training. Training places for this qualification are now available for eligible South Australians.

Option 1: Traineeship Funding – Your employer is invoiced $2,800 up front.
Option 2: If you are not able to access Traineeship funding through your employer – $4850 is payable (Monthly Interest Free Direct Debit available)
Nationally recognised training is GST free.

Outline
Format
3 x 90 minute Live Virtual Classrooms scheduled on each day. Each scheduled day is approximately 4-5 weeks apart. Assessment tasks are completed outside of the Live Virtual Classroom hours and will generally be submitted before the next training date scheduled. We recommend learners set aside 10 – 15 hours/assessment.
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification however the Diploma of Leadership and Management is designed for current managers/leaders. Experience in the workplace and managing a team is considered essential.

This qualification is made up of 12 units of competency based on the qualification packaging rules, located at www.training.gov.au.
