Course Description

A nationally recognised Diploma of Management course that is specifically tailored for education, planned and facilitated by experienced education leaders.

It addresses The Australian Professional Standard for Principals and supports leaders’ work with staff for the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and Teacher Registration.

The course also focuses on elements of Domain 1 of the SA Teaching for Effective Learning Framework.

On successful completion, participants will be awarded BSB51107 Diploma of Management.

Outline

Format

One day workshops scheduled approximately 4-5 weeks apart. Assessment tasks are completed between sessions. We recommend learners set aside 10 – 15 hours/assessment.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification however the Diploma of Management is designed for aspiring or current managers/leaders. Experience in the workplace is considered essential.
