Course Description
This one day HSR workshop will build on the learning you have already undertaken during your 3 year term and refresh your knowledge of legislation and hazard management.
We begin with a brief update on changes to legislation and its general requirements using case studies and the discussion these generate.
We will review the process for resolving issues using your organisation’s system combined with your skill in making a case for positive change.
The issue resolution refresher will encompass the issuing of a Provisional Improvement Notice (PIN).
In addition to the above, hazard topics will be reviewed using case studies and each workshop group’s needs.

Outline
This program is a 1 day program. If delivered via face to face training, the session will be from 9-4.30pm.

Career Outcomes
This workshop forms the foundation for the remaining 9 days to which you are entitled for your second term as an HSR. These 9 days will enable you to complete a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
This can lead to obtaining a position as a Workplace Health and Safety professional.
