Course Description
ASC Training & Development have delivered customised CIV Trainer and Assessor qualifications and upgrades to DECD teachers over the past 15 years. We have earned a reputation as a high quality provider that delivers training specifically designed for VET teachers in schools.
Why upgrade from TAE40110 to TAE40116 CIV in Training and Assessment?
Under the amended Standards for RTO’s, you do not need to upgrade to the TAE40116 to continue to deliver VET training and assessment unless you intend to train and assess specifically the CIV in Training and Assessment qualification.
However, if you have an agreement with an RTO and they require you to upgrade to the new TAE40116 CIV in Training and Assessment as part of their quality assurance process, ASC Training & Development can provide this pathway.
(Please note there is a requirement for all VET trainers/assessors to hold TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills and TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools as at 1st July 2019.)
What does the upgrade involve?
The upgrade involves completing 2 units:
• TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills (via distance learning)
• TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools
PLUS additional assessment tasks to cover gaps in the assessment requirements in the new TAE40116 qualification. These tasks are to be completed in participant’s own time, and involve developing assessment plans and validation activities.
Cost & Inclusions
All units and tasks listed below are included in the 2 day + take away tasks via face to face training. You may select a mixture of other options available below, however you must complete all units and gap tasks to complete the full upgrade.
