Your experience?
I started my career in agricultural science, which led to a role in biosecurity where I had the opportunity to undergo my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (with ASC). My passion for assisting people in gaining new knowledge and skills led me to pursue a career in the VET sector.
After 10 years of managing training organisations in the Northern Territory, I returned to South Australia, where things came full circle on commencement of employment with ASC in 2022.
What is your role at ASC?
As the Learning, Development and Compliance Consultant, I wear many hats. One of my most important tasks is ensuring that ASC complies with all relevant industry standards and legislation. I also assist with the delivery of training and assessment courses.
How would you describe a job done well?
A job well done is when we make a difference in someone’s life through the delivery of quality training.
One hidden talent?
I have a small farm in the Adelaide Hills.
