I started out as a health and safety rep more than 20 years ago and have continued to be involved in the OHS/WHS industry ever since.
Fast forward to 2013: I started my own business, which continues to grow and fuel my knowledge and passion.
I am skilled in workplace safety, risk management, WHS management systems, RTW coordination, injury management, training, technical writing, and more, and have a demonstrated history in these areas.
Your work with ASC?
My work with ASC has been fun, extremely rewarding, and is predominantly focused on facilitating health and safety rep (HSR) training. It also includes other training within the scope of WHS, such as Certificate IV units of competency, risk management, and committees.
What do you think makes a great learning experience?
I believe an engaging and flexible learning environment is paramount. Each participant has unique experiences and learning needs. As a facilitator, I love adapting to different learners and helping people apply their new knowledge.
One fun fact about you?
I love spending time with my beautiful family and curling up with a good book in front of a fire—well, at least when it’s cold! 😊
