Australia boasts one of the most highly regarded vocational education and training sectors in the world. We understand that quality training inspires students to do great things.
This wasn’t always the way. While we had teachers in schools and lecturers in universities 50 years ago, no such role existed in the workplace. You were pretty much ‘thrown in at the deep end’ and expected to swim.
But as our workplaces evolved, it became clear that upskilling the workforce required a new kind of teacher – one who had both workplace experience and the ability to impart knowledge and skills to learners, from entry level to senior leadership.
Our training and assessment courses prepare participants for roles as trainers and assessors in the VET sector and for the delivery of training and assessment in the workplace.
To become a qualified VET facilitator, you need to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Once qualified, you can work in any Registered Training Organisation (RTO) where your skills align to the qualifications and courses offered.
If you share our passion for facilitating learning in others, have work and life experience, and wish to begin a new career in vocational education, we would love to speak with you.
