Your experience?
I’ve been a learning design and development professional for over two decades. During this time, I’ve held several roles from managing learning projects to leading teams of learning professionals located in different parts of the world. My experience includes learning consulting and designing and implementing digital, blended, and instructor-driven learning solutions.
What is your role at ASC?
At ASC, my role involves devising and implementing learning strategies for several parts of the business, including our live virtual classrooms, self-paced standalone courses, customised offerings for clients, and managing our digital learning evaluation systems and data.
I really enjoy collaborating with people, and at ASC, we have a wonderful and smart group of people who are committed to our clients, learners, and to learning excellence. We have fun working together and there’s always plenty of humour and wit to go around!
How would you describe a job done well?
I’m an enthusiastic advocate of learning strategies and solutions that are rooted in learning science, and I’m always open to new ideas and research.
A job done well is when a learning solution can achieve the trifecta of focusing on actually achievable learning outcomes, factoring in the learner’s needs and environment, and finally, being based on evidence-informed frameworks.
One hidden talent?
I’m a keen amateur photographer and cook. So far, my keenness hasn’t translated to any type of measurable success – though it’s safe to say that no one yet has been harmed in the process!
