Your experience?

I spent close to 10 years in retail management before moving into the world of training and development. I managed stores for different brands, with one of my favourite stints being in London where I lived for five years. My passion for developing my staff grew during my retail management years, and from there I went on to complete my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and joined the amazing team here at ASC Training and Development. 

What is your role at ASC?

My role as Learning & Development Officer is a varied and rewarding one. I work closely with our clients and learners providing support and guidance, and making sure they have all they need to succeed in our courses.

I also assist with the training and assessing of our Certificate IV in Leadership & Management course, including engaging with our learners to help them acquire the tools and knowledge to become the leaders they aspire to be. 

How would you describe a job done well?

It’s those good-feeling belly butterflies you get when you know you’ve put a lot of time and energy into something, done the best you can, and you receive grateful feedback. 

One hidden talent?

I make a pretty fabulous margarita. I also have a Diploma in Fashion Design and Technology, so I’m not too shabby on the sewing machine!
