Provide work skill instruction is ideal for new trainers or managers who want to learn how to deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to adult learners (in small groups or 1-on-1 coaching).
This course will equip you with the skills to deliver structured training sessions effectively.
You will focus on several areas required to conduct individual and small group work skill instruction including:
- exploring the principles of adult learning
- creating engaging skills-based training plans
- identifying learner characteristics and needs
- delivering and reviewing training
- building effective relationships with learners.

To enrol in this course you must:
- have English language and literacy skills sufficient to undertake study at Certificate IV level.
- have good computer skills and be able to organise and manage files, edit documents, research information on the internet, and record video on your phone, tablet or other device.
- be able to commit 10-15 hours of your own time for each assessment (assessment tasks are completed between sessions).

TAEDEL311 Provide Work Skill Instruction is a core unit in the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Assessment
- Assessment is competency based. You will be assessed as ‘Competent’, ‘Partially Complete’ or ‘Not Yet Competent’ for each unit of competency.
- You will be invited to resubmit work until competency can be demonstrated.
