Outline of Program

Effective Project Management underpins the achievement of business outcomes. As workplaces become increasingly complex and job roles more diverse, staff with effective project management skills are in high demand.

The Diploma of Project Management provides participants with the skills and tools required to manage more complex projects in the workplace. This includes project scoping, work definitions and scheduling, resource and stakeholder management, costings and procurement, project implementation and closure

2 x 90 minute plus 1 x 60 minute Live Virtual Classrooms with the facilitator on each scheduled day, with each day scheduled approximately 4-5 weeks apart. Assessment tasks are completed between sessions. We recommend learners set aside 10 – 15 hours/assessment.

Our Facilitator – Henrietta Child

Henrietta was the founder of KneeDeep Project Management and started her project management career in the information technology sector before moving to consulting and training with a very wide range of industries and applications. She now works as an associate of ASC Training & Development.

Some organisations she has provided consultancy services to include Land Management Corporation, SA Health, The State Library of South Australia, City of Tea Tree Gully, GPA Engineering, Sola Shop Australia, Ratbag (video Games), Philips Industries, Amdel Ltd, Balfours Ltd, Codan Pty Ltd, SOLA Optical and Vision Systems Pty Ltd.

Henrietta has over 20 years experience in developing and delivering training programs in leadership and project management. She has also provided leadership and project management training services for the various State Government innovation agencies, during which time she has demonstrated her ability to relate effectively across a diverse range of backgrounds.

Henrietta is an accredited Team Management Systems (TMS) practitioner and is a board member of Electronics Industry Development Adelaide (EIDA).

For several years Henrietta acted as a business mentor for InnovateSA in their Growing Global Companies program. She has a strong focus on process and people interaction, which she has combined successfully in many roles to bring about lasting improvements to both work and team operation, efficiency and morale.

She routinely receives the highest rating in training feedback, and more importantly in her role as a mentor, sees individuals and companies make lasting changes to their practices and behaviours.
