This Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is designed for registered secondary teachers involved with the design, delivery and assessment of VET competencies.
This course is designed for registered secondary teachers and takes into account current their experience as educators in the secondary high school context.
As of 1 March 2024, registered secondary school teachers have two different options to train and assess in the VET sector.
- Option 1: Complete the TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set (for Registered Secondary Teachers), which we offer as a 3-day course in an online, live virtual classroom (LVC) format.
- Option 2: Complete this 5-day Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (for registered secondary teachers), which is also offered in an online, live virtual classroom (LVC) format.
Please note that both options allow registered secondary school teachers to train and assess in the VET sector.
