Financial Management as a Foundation Skill

The Financial Management as a Foundation Skill course is designed for those who would like to be more knowledgeable about matters of finance but who don’t necessarily have a background in finance.

Everyone agrees that a working knowledge of financial terms and concepts is important. But it can be confusing to know where to begin – especially when the meaning of financial management terms and concepts depends on the context and point-of-view.

This self-paced online course is designed to give you a head start with financial management terminology and its key concepts and give you the ability to approach matters of everyday finance with knowledge and confidence.

This course has been co-authored with Mark Priadko.

Mark is respected advisor who has over two decades experience in financial services and has held executive roles in South Australian Treasury and Finance. He has deep knowledge of government decision-making processes and public sector financial management.

Mark has worked with many different groups including for-profit and not-for-profit organisations, universities, and all levels of government – state, federal, and local.
