With over 25 years' experience in human resources and change management, I have seen the impact that leadership, culture, and employee engagement have on an organisation’s performance and employee wellbeing.
As a change management consultant, I have been lucky enough to work across a wide range of organisations (public, private, and not-for-profit sectors) to implement change initiatives that build alignment, innovation, and high-performing teams.
I also enjoy contributing to an organisation’s growth and evolution by providing strategic direction and insight at the board level. I have sat on local, state, and national boards across a range of roles, including as Chair, contributing expertise in change, planning, and governance.
Your work with ASC?
I have been a trainer and facilitator for ASC since 2020 and have delivered a range of modules within the Diploma and Certificate IV in Leadership and Management. These cover topics such as team leadership, diversity, wellbeing, and managing performance.
I have also been lucky enough to work with some of ASC’s clients to facilitate team development days, bespoke training sessions, and to implement employee engagement programs.
What do you think makes a great learning experience?
I think my stories—whether from my time as a senior manager, a change management consultant, or a board member—enhance the training experience and help move learning from theory to practical application.
One fun fact about you?
I have a serious fear of the dentist! I still have numbing gel applied to my gums before the dentist can clean my teeth, and she can only touch my teeth for five seconds at a time. As you can imagine, it takes a long time to get my teeth cleaned!
