Your experience?
I’ve worked in a wide variety of administration roles for well over 30 years, with the last 14 in Registered Training Organisations. I entered the world of RTOs in 2011 after needing a change from evening shifts to regular daytime hours. I previously held long-term roles at two other RTOs but was unfortunately made redundant from both positions. Fortunately, my second redundancy led me to join ASC in early 2025.
What is your role at ASC?
I’ll probably be the person who answers the phone when you call! I look after a variety of tasks—monitoring and responding to email enquiries, processing course registrations, updating completed HSR training with SafeWork SA, managing accounts, and learning more and more new tasks as I go. It’s still early days for me!
How would you describe a job done well?
A job done well is when you meet—or even better, exceed—a client’s expectations.
One hidden talent?
After working for Australia Post for almost 12 years, I still know most South Australian postcodes (even though I left there in 2011)!
