Leadership in Action

Leadership in Action provides a flexible, practical way to build leadership capability over time while maintaining a strong connection to the realities of the workplace.

Leadership capability develops over time, through learning, application, reflection and practice. Leadership in Action supports that process through a series of focused, practical sessions that build capability progressively while keeping participants connected to the realities of their workplace.

The program is delivered as a minimum of 10 × 2-hour live virtual classroom sessions, generally spaced four to five weeks apart. Each session concentrates on a specific leadership capability, giving participants time to explore practical tools and frameworks, apply them at work, and build on that experience in the sessions that follow.

Participants are encouraged to bring genuine workplace situations into the sessions, keeping discussion relevant and immediately useful. The emphasis throughout is on practical leadership development that supports real workplace application, not theory alone.

What makes Leadership in Action different?
Each session is practical, focused and directly connected to the workplace.

  • Real conversations
Participants work through genuine workplace challenges in a practical learning environment, connecting the content to the situations they are managing.
  • Practical leadership tools
Each session introduces tools, strategies or frameworks that can be applied immediately back at work.
  • Highly engaging learning
Sessions combine facilitated discussion, workplace examples, reflection and coaching to keep the learning active and relevant.
  • Focused development over time
The two-hour format lets participants concentrate on one capability at a time, apply it between sessions and build confidence progressively.
